HUMAN RESOURCES FORUM
25 April 2012
Radisson Blu Daugava Hotel

During the overcoming of the crisis of the recent years we have trained “the management muscles” oriented on results – we talk about management, processes, systems and structures. Making after the result we have forgotten about humanity.  It is not possible to make after the “carrot” of money for long and be afraid of the “stick” of crisis. Employees are not working just to make their salary, it is essential for them also to implement their potential, achieve inspiring goals and finally – to enjoy their work and feel satisfied.

A progressive company dares to be focused on the employee as a human, to talk with him or her about the vision, mission and values. Here the manager is a leader, who shows with his or her behaviour that it is possible to work with enthusiasm as well as respect, develop and encourage others.

During the Forum experts of various areas will call to think about the humanity at work place. Are we ready for that? What advantage it may provide and what it can put at risk? What do we lose if we do not have it? Should not we lose results, when focusing on the humanity?

During the event there will be an opportunity to get acquainted with real success stories of companies, which will provide a better understanding of humanity in the context of business and management.
